A clean vamp and lightly scooped collar keep the line pared back, while the chunky outsole and smooth full-grain cowhide give it the workwear weight Kleman is known for. René Cléon, a World War 2 veteran and skilled bootmaker, started KLEMAN from his family's home in La Romagne. Nearly eighty years on, the workshop still turns out hard-wearing leather footwear from the same corner of the Maine-et-Loire.
