Founded in Los Angeles in 2007, The Ampal Creative set out to shake up a headwear market that felt stale and predictable. Every hat, beanie, sock, and patch has been 100% Made in the USA since 2010, hand-built using premium textiles and rare deadstock fabrics sourced from local jobbers and manufacturers — often just a single roll at a time. With a hands-on approach to every stage of production, Ampal creates pieces built to last, carrying the same "made like they used to" spirit as a well-worn pair of jeans. Rooted in surf culture, road trips, and Americana, each cap tells its own story.
